You have what it takes to create a Teachers Pay Teachers store that makes daily sales

Let's just start off by saying you have what it takes to create a profitable Teachers Pay Teachers store this year.  Erase the mindset that it's all been done before and there's not anything that you could possibly do that would be different than other people before you. There are products out there that you could create that would have your own unique spin on them. That would be a great way to make extra income inside of your teacher business or your tutoring business, whichever one. So let's start from there because your mindset is going to be everything.  It’s either going to be day one or one day - you decide.

Create products that align with your niche

Staying in your niche will help you create more products and increase sales!

Create products that align with your niche

You need to create products inside of your niche. In my last blog post: How To Become A Teachers Pay Teachers Seller, we talked about that.  Your niche is just your favorite thing to teach in the classroom. If you’re a classroom teacher then just think about your favorite part of the day.  If you’re a tutor and you're not a classroom teacher, think about what your tutoring niche is inside your business.  For example, my favorite thing to teach in the classroom is reading. My favorite thing to tutor is reading as well. So I've aligned that with my TPT store, I can use my products inside of my classroom, I can also use them inside of my tutoring business, it is a win win!

Focus on building one type of product inside your niche and use the same template over and over again

Next, you're going to focus on building one type of product and get really good at that inside of your niche.  This will allow you to use the same template over and over again.  You might have heard this called a product line before and that's just fancy shmancy talk for a repeatable method, a repeatable process.  You’ll learn all about this on day 3 of my free 4 day challenge so make sure you sign up here!  I talked about this with your tutoring business, you should have a repeatable method.  The same goes for your TPT store because whether you're using Canva, or PowerPoint to create your products, you can duplicate and recreate.  You’ll just change things out and make similar products in your niche.  That is going to be the fastest way to get more products out there and then to bundle them later down the road.

Solving problems for your ideal customer is what makes consistent sales

Solving problems for your ideal customer is what makes consistent sales

Once you have figured your Teachers Pay Teachers store niche and you’re consistently making products inside of your niche, you're going to be consistently solving product problems for your ideal customer. If you're always focusing on serving your audience, then you're going to make daily sales.  That is huge inside of your TPT store and your tutoring business. If you're just creating fun product products all the time that don't necessarily solve a problem, that could work. However, to get started, I'm really going to encourage you to think about your ideal customers' problems and how your products are the solution.

Consistently blogging about your products is key

Solving problems for your ideal customer goes hand in hand with my next tip which is to consistently blog about your products so that you are getting more reach. If you're talking about your TPT products and how they solve a problem on your blog, or maybe you have a YouTube channel instead, either way, creating weekly content sharing your amazing products with people is key.  You won’t necessarily be saying “Buy my products!” but rather talking about the problem and then entering the room is your solution, which is your TPT product.  Consistently showing up for your audience is key to making more sales.

Combine blogging with a Pinterest strategy and you’ll grow your TPT store

Combining blogging with a Pinterest strategy will drastically increase the growth in your Teachers Pay Teachers store. All of the blog images that you use for your products can be repurposed as Pinterest pins, and you should be circulating them all the time on Tailwind so that you can sell more products. It's like free advertising, it's just circulating for you all the time and it has a link to your blog posts. If you're not as familiar with Pinterest, but you have used it a lot as a user, then you'll know you've probably seen what I’m talking about.  You'll see something like a recipe that you really want to try, you click on it, it takes you to a blog.  That's what you have to do to make consistent daily sales and grow your TPT store.  One of the many reasons I have multiple lessons on Pinterest and Tailwind from my own Pinterest manager inside of From Zero To Cha-Ching!
